There are a multitude of options when it comes to putting cabinets in your kitchen. Before you commit, you should arm yourself with as much information as you can. - What’s can you get for the budget you have in mind?

Levels of Cabinetry
Stock Cabinetry such as Aspect or Wolf is sized in 3” increments for width, typically starting at 9”. Wall cabinet heights are usually 30”, 36” & 42”. Although not high quality and offering far less choice in finish, hardware and style, stock cabinetry is a great choice if the homeowner wants quick delivery and installation at a very reasonable price.
Semi-Custom Cabinetry includes brands such as Shiloh or Eclipse. With these cabinets, the homeowner/designer is able to change the dimensions of the cabinetry in specific areas and will usually be getting a higher quality of wood, finish, and hardware than a stock cabinetry line can offer. There will also be more choices in wood species, finishes, and door styles.
Full Custom Cabinetry allows homeowners/designers to completely invent their kitchen/bath space. With brands such as Plain & Fancy or Elmwood homeowners/designers can create truly unique spaces with every imaginable design and dimension using only the highest quality premium wood, finishes, and hardware available.
Choosing Door Styles
Door styles can be framed, frameless, or inset. While choosing the right style for you may be one of the most critical decisions you make, it doesn’t have to be the most stressful. For many kitchens, the shaker style is a sure bet. Shaker kitchen cabinets are a popular trend in current kitchen renovations because of the classic and simple look. Shaker cabinets are popular for both traditional and contemporary designs. If you are going for a modern appearance, glass or aluminum-framed doors may be your best options. Glass doors are a great way to put your best dishes on display and open up your kitchen to light and space.
Accessories Add Functionality
Inspire Kitchen and Bath Design experts can also suggest organizational products to maximize the efficiency of your existing kitchen. For instance, if you have unused room in the base of a particular cabinet, perhaps you could add a pull-out shelf?
The best part about having a versatile cabinetry setup is that you can modify the dimensions to fit almost any kitchen style. The width, depth, and height can be adjusted, so there’s no need for wasted space in your kitchen.
